<p style="font-size:16px;line-height:1.85;margin:0 0 18px;color:#1f2937;">Hot weather adds another variable to fasting: what feels like hunger may first be dehydration or heat-related fatigue.</p>

<p style="margin:20px 0;"><img src="https://qfile.hnrjkfapp.com/images/caloriecoach/uploads/b4ae31f1-8b34-4a02-ba9c-19772b0ce20d.png" alt="Fasting in Hot Weather: Low Energy Is Not Always Just Hunger" style="display:block;width:100%;height:auto;border-radius:14px;object-fit:cover;" /></p>

<p style="font-size:16px;line-height:1.85;margin:0 0 18px;color:#1f2937;">Dry mouth, headache, poor focus, and a heavy body can be misread as “I cannot handle hunger.” But on days with heat, sweating, commuting, and moving between air conditioning and outdoor air, hydration rhythm can affect how you feel.</p>

<h2 style="font-size:21px;line-height:1.42;margin:34px 0 14px;font-weight:800;color:#111827;">Hydrate first, then judge hunger</h2>

<p style="font-size:16px;line-height:1.85;margin:0 0 18px;color:#1f2937;">During a fasting window, it is easy to focus only on “when can I eat?” In hot weather, water deserves more attention.</p>

<p style="font-size:16px;line-height:1.85;margin:0 0 18px;color:#1f2937;">Try taking small drinks in the morning, late morning, and afternoon instead of waiting until you are very thirsty and then drinking a lot at once. If you drink coffee or tea, do not let them fully replace water.</p>

<h2 style="font-size:21px;line-height:1.42;margin:34px 0 14px;font-weight:800;color:#111827;">Make the first meal less dry</h2>

<p style="font-size:16px;line-height:1.85;margin:0 0 18px;color:#1f2937;">When you open your window in hot weather, a meal with more moisture may feel easier: soup, porridge, vegetables, fruit, yogurt, tofu, or steamed egg can be gentler than dry snacks alone.</p>

<p style="font-size:16px;line-height:1.85;margin:0 0 18px;color:#1f2937;">This does not mean the meal has to be bland. The goal is to include protein, vegetables or fruit, an appropriate staple carbohydrate, and fluid so the body can settle back in.</p>

<h2 style="font-size:21px;line-height:1.42;margin:34px 0 14px;font-weight:800;color:#111827;">Do not push through these signals</h2>

<p style="font-size:16px;line-height:1.85;margin:0 0 18px;color:#1f2937;">If you feel clearly dizzy, shaky, sweaty, light-headed, or have a racing heart, stop forcing the fast. Sit somewhere safe and eat or seek help based on your health situation.</p>

<p style="font-size:16px;line-height:1.85;margin:0 0 18px;color:#1f2937;">People at risk of low blood sugar, using medication, pregnant or breastfeeding, with kidney or cardiovascular concerns, a history of eating disorders, or other chronic conditions should not use hot days to challenge longer fasting windows.</p>

<h2 style="font-size:21px;line-height:1.42;margin:34px 0 14px;font-weight:800;color:#111827;">Today’s small practice</h2>

<p style="font-size:16px;line-height:1.85;margin:0 0 18px;color:#1f2937;">Do not aim for “more discipline” today. Do one thing: keep water where you can see it, and before opening your window ask, “Am I hungry, or am I thirsty and tired?”</p>

<p style="font-size:16px;line-height:1.85;margin:0 0 18px;color:#1f2937;">On hot fasting days, what do you overlook most: water, sleep, or the first meal?</p>
